Coverage of 1990 version.

These notes, the family tree and appendices, include information collected in searches mainly of:

    Somerset church registers,

    Somerset and Bristol censuses, 1841-81,

Mormon International Genealogical Index of baptisms and marriages (IGI) England & Wales,

    Boyd's national marriage index,

    St . Catherine's House (Registrar-General's ) indexes of Waygood/Weygood

        Births 1837-1913,

        Marriages 1837-1930,

        Deaths 1837-1940,

Published early records,Wills, and Somerset and Bristol directories and newspapers.

As a general rule they cover births to 1913, but this has not operated to split families in which children were born on both sides of the dividing line, where details of later children are known; again, where details are known, the names and birth dates of members of the next generation have been included in notes under the Waygood parent's name.

The Devon content is confined to what has been learned From the IGI and published records; Dorset items in Appendix B are restricted to those found in the IGI, Boyd and St. Catherine's House indexes, supplemented, in the case of the last, by known pre-1937 and post 1930/40 information directly connected.
