Notes on Individuals 1990 Section 14.

Ann Elizabeth (c 12.9.1819).

A son, Henry Waygood Cox, 1 year, buried 5.12.1844, Banwell.

Jane Vowles (c 22.9.1822)

Milliner/dressmaker.  On 1851 census, with parents and two youngest sisters, at Church Street, Banwell, in the name Jane Palmer, with daughter Fanny, aged 11 months, born Bristol.  In 1871 Fanny M. Waygood, 20, born Clifton, no profession, was at Church Street, Banwell, with Sarah E. Lovett, widow, 71, born Churchill, dressmaker (see James b 1792, Section 1), and described as her grand-daughter.  On 18.1.1881 a Fanny Maria Waygood, 25, daughter of William Palmer Waygood, gentleman, was married to William Knibb Abbot, widower, 37, Savings Bank sub-actuary, at Bedminster St. John.  On 13.1.1875 a Maria Waygood, 29, father shown only as "Waygood", watchmaker, was married at Bristol St. Barnabus to Roderick Evans, 29, widower, chemist.  Births of Fanny Maria Palmer and Maria Julia Palmer were registered in Clifton RD in 1850(2) and 1846(2) respectively, but there is no record of a marriage of Jane, or of William Palmer Waygood, who seems more than probably identical with William Ball Palmer, in Bristol directories from 1845 to 1880 (at least) as chronometer, watch and clockmaker; in 1880 he was also deputy registrar of marriages!

Martha Elizabeth (c 2.9.1832).

Dressmaker. On 1851 census at Weare, as visitor at home of John Counsell, innkeeper, and wife
