Tiley.

The place-name Tiley has been found in the course of searches, and appears in family tree and narrative. Waygood deaths at Tiley, 1879/87, were followed by burials at Minterne Magna, others, 1880/1, by burials at Glanvilles Wootton; in two cases censuses show alternative birthplaces for the same individuals, i.e. Tiley and Middlemarsh, raising the prospect that both names were used for the same locality, or at least that they were in very close proximity. There is a Tilley hamlet in Buckland Newton parish, which adjoins the burials parishes, but there is no obvious connection with Middlemarsh (well within Minterne Magna near its boundary with Glanvilles Wootton).
